How much do passports cost in 2023?
A British passport is obtained through HM Passport Office, is an essential document for any UK citizen travelling abroad, it is also the main form of ID required for any financial or legal agreement, due to this the passport office is in constant high demand with first time passports and passport renewals for those whos passports have been lost, stolen or expired.
Adult Passport Prices
The cost of a British passport for an adult depends on how you apply, once issued an adult passport is valid for 10 years.
If you apply online, the cost is £75.50 for a standard 32-page passport, or £85.50 for a jumbo 48-page passport. If you apply by post, the cost is £85 for a standard 32-page passport, or £95 for a jumbo 48-page passport.
Please note if you apply and you're not entitled to a passport, you will not get a refund on the fee paid, this is also the case if you make a mistake on your passport form and do not correct it and send back within the 30 day period.

Urgent Fast-Track Adult Prices
The fast-track one week service costs £142 for an adult, this service guarantees that you will receive your passport within one week of attending your urgent appointment.
The premium one day service costs £177. This service guarantees that you will receive your passport within one day of attending your urgent appointment. Child, Infant, Minor Passport Prices
