If appointments are not available in your nearest passport office
If you're applying for a passport and find that the HM Passport Office does not have any available appointments at your local office, don't despair. You may still be able to get an appointment at the next nearest passport office.
Although traveling to the next nearest passport office may be a good option if your local office is unable to accommodate your application so you will need to check the online system or by phone to make sure you can get an appointment booked before planning your travel as this may result in further costs and the time involved to get there.
