How do I speak to someone at Liverpool Passport Office?


The Liverpool Passport Office cannot be contacted directly as HM Passport Office has centralized its services. To get in touch with the passport office, you can call the Passport Adviceline service. This service is available from Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-3pm. The service is available in multiple languages, and you will be connected with an advisor who can assist you with your query.



Can you visit Liverpool Passport Office without an appointment?


If you wish to speak to someone face-to-face, it is necessary to book an appointment to visit the Liverpool Passport Office. This service is available for:



  • Renewal of adult passports (One Day Premium Service or One Week Fast Track Service)

  • Renewal of child passports (One Week Fast Track Service)

  • First-time child passports (One Week Fast Track Service)

  • Replacement of lost or stolen passports (One Week Fast Track Service)

  • Replacement of damaged passports (One Week Fast Track Service)

  • Passport interviews (for first-time adult passports, postal service only)



Appointments cannot be booked for the following:


  • First-time adult passports (aged 16 and over, applications must be made via standard service, taking 4-6 weeks)

  • Updates on existing applications sent via post

  • If your passport has not arrived on time and you wish to pick it up in person



The Liverpool Passport Office does not have a drop-in service. All customers should make an appointment if they wish to access the services available. Appointments can be made by calling the Passport Appointment Line.



When making your appointment, you will need to provide basic information such as your full name, address, and contact telephone number.   • Used the online standard service for your first-time or renewal application.

If you wish to check on the status of your application, you are unable to attend the Liverpool Passport Office without an appointment.
