If you've opted for the one week fast-track and have booked an appointment at Liverpool Passport Office, you can leave the office on the day of your appointment and your passport will be sent to you via a secure courier within 7 days (including weekends, but excluding bank holidays)

The one week service is also available for:

  • Lost & stolen passports

  • Damaged passports



Can you get a passport same day, within 24 hours at Liverpool?


Yes, you can obtain a passport in one day at the Liverpool office in fact you will receive your passport within 5 hours once you attend your appointment, however this is only available for Adult renewals (aged 16 and over) of a passport where the following conditions are met:



  • You have a UK passport which, expired less than 9 months ago.

  • Your passport is not damaged beyond reasonable wear and tear or reported to have been lost or stolen.

  • You have not already applied by post or online for the standard service application.


If all of the above conditions are met, you should be able to get a full passport in using the one day premium service by attending the Liverpool office for a pre-booked appointment.



Things to consider in regards to one day services for Liverpool


The appointment must be pre-booked by calling the passport office booking line, and depending on availability they may not have appointments available today or tomorrow in many cases most passport office only have availability 2-5 days ahead of the current date.
